Join us for relaxed, individualised art sessions where you can explore a range of mediums including charcoal, pastel, watercolour, coloured pencil, acrylic and more.

Bring your own idea, or simply be guided through various processes by local award winning artists.

Whether you’re experienced or just keen to create, there’s room for you 🤍

🎨 Introduction to Oil Painting

Ready to explore the world of oil painting?
Join us for a hands-on introduction with Tennessee Charpentier from
Open to all levels — from complete beginners to experienced artists.

Learn the fundamentals of oil painting, including colour theory, mark making, alla prima, glazing and wet-on-wet techniques.

📅 Wednesday, 16 September
🕤 9:30am – 3:00pm
💲 $125 per person
📍 Sunbird Studios & Co, Airlie Beach

✨ 5 hours of tuition with a 30-minute lunch break
✨ Limited spaces — bookings are essential
✨ Bring your own brushes, canvas and oil paints
✨ Linseed oil, solvent and some oil colours provided

Your canvas will need to be prepared with the outline of what you wish to paint. If this is not achievable for you please contact Brigitte at Sunbird Studios & Co who can arrange a canvas and preparation for you for a small additional fee of $25

All levels welcome. Come along, explore the medium and create your own piece. 🎨
