This Saturday 14 March, 9:30am - 1pm π€ πΏ
I'm excited to be holding one of my WildArt workshops at Make & Mend Agnes Water, sharing a central part of my arts practice with you.
Creating earth pigments from your immediate natural environment, making your own paint and using it in experimental painting & mark making, is a profound experience, connecting you deeply to our bioregion.
We still have a couple of spots available. Click on the post below for detailed information and to secure your spot.

What is WildArt?
WildArt is about reconnecting with the landscape and remembering that we are part of natureβs story. Itβs a creative, hands-on experience that invites you to explore art through the materials found around us.
WildArt is:
β remembering that we are part of the landscape's natural history & ecology
β deepening our knowledge and relationship to our bioregion
β reconnecting to nature by making our own art supplies
β a journey of experience and creation
Join local artist Bina Van Haeften, Artist from The Perspective Collective as she gently guides you into the world of WildArt. During this workshop, Bina will share knowledge about native plants and her art.
You will learn how to:
πΏ Make painting utensils from natural materials
π¨ Create earth pigments and turn them into paint
π Experiment with natural mark-making and expressive painting
This is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and explore creativity in a completely different way.
