A Talmudic Vaudeville inspired by Kafka’s The Trial.

“Someone must have been telling lies about Josef K., he knew he had done nothing wrong but, one morning, he was arrested”... so begins Franz Kafka’s famous text The Trial; a comic yet terrifying tale of Josef K’s blind tumble through totalitarian bureaucracy and an absurd, labyrinthine system of laws that are nearly impossible to navigate.

Supporting the logistical backbone of Adelaide Festival, the Production Store Coordinator manages the warehouse, production assets and equipment movements across multiple venues and projects.

This position plays a key role in the successful delivery of festival activities through logistics coordination, inventory management, procurement and practical problem-solving.

Last week, we celebrated the returning members and new supporters of the 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯!

Held at the brand new Angry Penguin restaurant, the evening brought together Artistic Director Matthew Lutton and Adelaide Writers’ Week Director Rosemarie Milsom for a special Q&A hosted by Jade Robran, sharing early insights into the 2027 Festival and what’s ahead. We introduced the new Arts Club Curated, offering an elevated experience and connection with Adelaide Festival.

Guests were also treated to a special performance by Adelaide’s own Carla Lippis and Josh Van Klonkelenberg, making for a memorable evening of conversation, incredible food and community!
