Primitive Contemporary

During the year there’s a very limited time that we can fire our works. During winter on dry days we scout out the very best location for our firings. We set to digging out the pit for the firing, designing for fire flow and the best and safest access for steps and paths around the fire. The rest of the year is spent making our pots, handbuilt and wheel thrown pottery, we both work in very different styles creating works for exhibition and experimentation. Stay tuned for 2020’s firing season, more news soon.
