Unveiling the 2025 Pit
Welcome back to the Adelaide PitFirers backyard. Today, we are finally unloading the pit after our most successful firing yet. The tension when you pull that first piece out is real.

There is absolutely nothing that compares to the pure adrenaline and anticipation of opening up a pit kiln! After weeks of throwing, burnishing, and carefully wrapping our greenware in organic materials, seaweed, and metal salts, we finally lit the pit right here in Adelaide.
