Nexus Arts is delighted to announce a 3-show series of contemporary music from 6 of South Australia’s most dynamic and exciting new artists.

The Interplay performance series is the culmination of a yearlong program that in 2025 saw 6 musicians from First Nations and culturally diverse backgrounds take part in one-on-one career guidance, mentorship, and group activities including a week-long creative intensive. The yearlong program aims to bolster creativity, connection, and community in an intercultural and supportive environment.

Dear Nexus Arts Friends,

As we bid farewell to a year filled with incredible art and unforgettable moments, we wanted to extend our warmest wishes for the holiday season.

We will be taking a short break to recharge and prepare for an exciting new year of creativity.

The Nexus Arts office and Gallery will be closed from December 20th, 2024, and will reopen on January 7th, 2025.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Our friends at Post Office Projects Gallery + Studios are seeking expressions of interest for their Studio Program.

The Post Office Projects Studio program is dedicated to providing affordable studio space and professional development opportunities for artists. We do this by facilitating opportunities for artists to connect within the studios, hosting curators, directors and collectors in the space and identifying opportunities for networking and professional development.

Thank you to everyone who came to the first of three in this year's Interplay Concert Series.

On Saturday 16 November, to a full house, Steph Teh shared her journey in music on the cello, guitar, in her songwriting, and through a series of wonderful collaborations. Steph was joined by Interplay alumni and mentor Elizabeth Ruyi.

On Friday night, we have Quirkestra's "Outta This Quirky World" launch 🚀 This is the third album by the 13-piece, disability-led experimental electronic rock band based at Tutti Arts

And on Saturday night, it's "A Classy Affair! The Jackson Mack Big Band with Millie Sarah". The 17 piece jazz big band will be covering swinging classics like, ‘Puttin On The Ritz’, ‘Sophisticated Lady’, ‘Miss Fine’ and more! All arranged by bandleader, Jackson Mack.
