JACK CLARK ~ Vice President
☆ What is your favourite play?
Equus, by Peter Shaffer! A friend of mine gifted it to me a few years back, and I’ve just recently fallen in love with it, it’s incredible.
☆ What is your Letterboxd top four?
Porco Rosso, Knives Out, About Time, and Jojo Rabbit. I keep changing this list but that’s what it is right now.
☆ What book will you always recommend?
‘Glass, Irony, and God’ by Anne Carson, or ‘If on a winter’s night a traveller’, by Italo Calvino.
MONA MORTAZAVI ~ Secretary
☆ What are you studying?
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
☆ What is your favourite thing about the TGSS?
It makes theatre accessible! TGSS is open to all students regardless of experience with always a range of on or offstage roles available for each show, and genuinely I love how it is such an open and welcoming community to enjoy and participate in theatre!
☆ Who is a person that inspires you, and why?
I am very inspired by people who have been driven to create, particularly I feel this quite pressingly with music, for example Jeff Buckley is a big creative inspiration for me - I relate so much to how he talks about expression and music as a form of poetry and feeling.
