👉Healthcare Career Training for Multicultural Communities
CAASSA and ANMEC Open Enrolments for Care Sector Skill Set Program
Community Access and Services SA (CAASSA), in partnership with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC), is inviting community members from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to enrol in a fully supported healthcare career training program, funded by the South Australian Government.
The program is open to anyone interested in starting a career in aged care, disability support, or community services. No prior qualifications are needed. Participants begin with a free Foundation Skills course, Healthcare Career Awareness and Exploration, delivered by CAASSA. This prepares learners for the accredited Entry into Care Role Skill Set and First Aid (HLTAID011), delivered by ANMEC. The accredited training costs just $175, with scholarships available for those experiencing financial hardship.
There are only two rounds of enrolment: Round 1 in March 2026 and Round 2 in April 2026. The program runs a foundation skills course for 10 weeks, with classes held every Thursday at CAASSA, 62 Athol Street, Athol Park. All training is completed by May 2026.
