What can you have in common with Jacob Elordi, Saoirse Ronan and Steven Spielberg? A spot on a film festival jury.

AFF is looking for South Australian high school students aged 15 and older to join the 2026 AFF Youth Jury, where you’ll watch, discuss and select the winning films in the AFF Youth Filmmaking Competition. This is a chance to sharpen your eye, share your voice and step inside the world of Adelaide Film Festival.

Make a short film these school holidays. It could end up on the big screen.

Doco? Stop-motion? Horror? Drama? Sci-fi? A comedy starring your dog? The AFF Youth Filmmaking Competition is open to bold, original short films from young South Australian school students.
