Scott Bassham Hits the Road: June 2025 Northwest Tour
Presented by Whalebone Music & Corney Music.
The long and winding road continues for singer, songwriter, and guitarist Scott Andrew Bassham, as he returns to the road this June, bringing his wild-hearted blend of folk, blues, and melodic punk energy to music lovers across the Pilbara, Ningaloo Coast, and the Kimberley.
Following the 2024 release of his acclaimed second studio album, Songs Behind the Sea, Scott’s upcoming solo tour is a celebration of a life devoted to music and the stories that shape it. Deeply inspired by the land-scapes he travels through, Scott’s music reflects the raw beauty and character of regional Australia, filtered through decades of experience as a traveling artist.
His live shows are known for their passion, energy, and authenticity. Whether performing his own heartfelt originals or reimagining the work of his musical heroes, Scott delivers with sincerity and connection—always with an ear to the ground and a heart on his sleeve.
“I absolutely love roaming around the Northwest,” says Scott.
“I’ve been coming up to share music for many years, and I have a deep affection for the venues and the people I get to play to. The land itself means a lot to me—it makes every trip feel meaningful and grounding.”
In addition to his solo work, Scott is also one half of the beloved folk/punk duo Ill-Starred Captain, formed in Port Lincoln, SA in the early 2000s. Now based in the Southwest of WA, Scott continues to write, pro-duce, and perform as a proudly independent regional artist.
“It’s quite a world we live in right now,” Scott reflects.
“We all need some good tunes to get us through—at least I do! That’s what I aim to bring to every show on this tour: something for the head, the heart, and the hips.”
