Animated Anime! ✨

One of our fave workshops from the spring holidays was Cartoons in Motion! Check out these amazing artworks from our morning session.

Our budding artists explored anime style face structure and expressions, then created their very own spinning lofi animations, bringing their characters to life with a flick of the wrist! 😆🎨 Such a great way to learn about face proportions & grid lines, lofi animation, frames and more!

How cool are these?! 💫

Alongside our usual Art Club school holiday program, we’re popping up at the State Library of South Australia for some special workshops as part of 🌿

🪴POP-UP GARDEN
Create a layered miniature pop-up garden using clever tabs and hidden details!

✨ MAGICAL SEEDS
Create your own magical seed packet with a rotating mechanism - what could grow from your magical seeds? Bring them to life through illustration and a surprise reveal!

Studio Saturdays are back for Term 4! 🎨✨

Our weekly Saturday Art classes are all about big ideas, hands-on making and building real artistic skills ✨ exploring everything from painting, drawing and colour theory to clay, sculpture, paper construction and more!

Designed for curious young artists, with projects thoughtfully adapted for each age group and plenty of room for imagination, experimentation and individual ideas. 💥

The weather just keeps getting better and better, so what better way to wrap up our Term 3 Studio Saturdays than with cyanotypes! ☀️💙

Our young artists foraged for natural materials in the beautiful park outside Brookside, then cut their own silhouette shapes to create these gorgeous prints - learning about the cyanotype process and using sunlight to expose their designs🌿✨

And that’s a wrap on Term 3! Our Term 4 Studio Saturdays launch next week - why not join us? 🎨😜

Fire horse update 🐎🔥✨

This week in our Saturday Art classes, we brought our fabulous clay horses to life with paint and glaze! 🐴🎨✨

Our young artists worked in layers, experimenting with colour and pattern while allowing areas of the beautiful raw clay to peek through their designs.
