✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us today for the final artist demonstration of Clay Magic - and what a special event it was, with artist Danny Murphy!

Visitors were captivated as Danny transformed clay into a variety of forms, demonstrating techniques while discussing everything from the role of platelets in clay, to the many kilometres he travels for his arts practice, to what has influenced his work, his use of seaweed, and the realities of working as a maker.

There is something truly mesmerising about wheel throwing, and today's audience was completely engaged from start to finish.

A heartfelt thank you to Danny for such a generous, inspiring, and entertaining demonstration.

🌀 Clay Magic continues tomorrow for its final day, closing at 4 pm (Friday 19 June). If you haven't visited yet, there's still time to experience this outstanding exhibition and see why so many people have already come through the doors.
