On yesterday's "Darwin is delightful!" watched the sun go down at Zen Rooftop Bar (which has a complimentary buffet with $10 purchase, awesome) then played Drag Queen Bingo with Aunty Velour! And won! David + Vickie won bingos and I won the musical trivia... it was 90s 😎 There were musical dares and a cup off. We all had a fabulous time.

Epic come-Day thanks to Darwin Festival !

Morning with Brett Blake for a stand-up workshop.

Afternoon with lauren brady (no pic) finding Red in Canadian Clown workshop.

Evening with Rove McManus (no pic) for a nostalgic tour through his career.

Also not pictured the myriad awesome Darwin stand-ups and stand-downs (Cockney rhyme I just made for Clowns) I met today along the way. Perfect way to end week 1 of Darwin Festival.

Got myself connected thanks to who started out as a magician, but I don't hold that against him. What he's holding against himself is his new book "Before We Forget How to Connect" as these days he's a wizard of communication and today conjured a series of connections between Adelaide strangers. My conversation partner was absolutely charming and I think the first Bangladeshi person I've ever met, which really surprises me. A very positive experience for all involved and Vinh and his crew were all so nice and friendly. We all learnt something, made friends and got vouchers for fabulous drinks at for our trouble. The prawn and black truffle sando was to die for. What a delightful day!
