We’re excited to feature a stunning range of contemporary Aboriginal artworks by Aboriginal artists as part of Contemporary springART.

Thank you to APY Gallery – Authentic Aboriginal Art, an Indigenous and artist-owned collective representing art centres from the APY Lands, regional South Australia and Adelaide. The APY Collective celebrates and shares the work of talented Aboriginal artists, from emerging voices to established artists.

We’re proud to showcase these powerful and inspiring works and celebrate the richness, stories and creativity of Aboriginal art.

Some of the artists featured this year include: Margaret Richards, Amy Scotty, Valerie Young, Kayleen James, Lena Young, Hayley O’Toole, Nurina Burton and Yaritji Heffernan.

Tahnae reflects: l'm a Kullilli and Wiradjuri woman and textile artist. I'm influenced by childhood experiences in the NT where l learnt how to weave from elders. My focus is linking the past to the present to convey family history and connections to Country through the use of raffia and garden waste. Tahnae Davidson-Bartley Artist
