What an incredible weekend at the 2025 Contemporary springART proudly presented by Booth Real Estate!

From the vibrant party atmosphere on Friday night to the inspiring Artist Panel discussion on Saturday, and the sweet Father's Day Portrait Exhibition and P&F BBQ on Sunday -every moment was filled with creativity and community spirit.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped install the artwork, supported catering and ensured the smooth running of the event. Your generosity and dedication made this Contemporary springART truly special.

We are so grateful to our presenting partner, Booth Real Estate, for your incredible support, and to our sponsors MPH Architects, Sidewood Estate and Glen Ewin Estate for helping bring this event to life.

Tickets are still available for Opening Night. This is an event not to be missed. Be the first to peruse the diverse range of artworks, meet the artists and enjoy a fun party! Delicious canapes by Glen Ewin Estate, wines by Sidewood Estate and beats from DJ Driller. Other highlights include guest speaker Penny Griggs CEO of the Adelaide Central School of Art, feature artist Quentin Gore and emerging artist Tess Bartholomew. Little Nature Space, Oil on canvas by Chris Small

Chris works to replicate the ‘feels’ of beach walks, observing the seas washing up shells, rocks, creatures and grasses. As we pause to interact with tiny nature spaces, our human actions cause imperceptible changes and shifts, the geological palimpsest retaining the shadow of our presence, our impact etched into the landscape over time.

As part of Contemporary springArt this year we are incorporating a special Father’s Day celebration on Sunday 7 September! Come along and enjoy a coffee and a BBQ, kindly cooked by our Parents and Friends Committee. Felicity Café will also house a very special display of artwork from our reception – year 4 students.

The Contemporary springART exhibition will also be open in The Square from 10:30am – 1:00pm.

Messejana Memories by Mary Ann Santin

Earlier this year, Mary Ann spent three weeks at the Buinho Artshub residency in Messejana, Portugal, experimenting with oil pastels and thin layers of oil paint. Back in Adelaide, she continued developing these works through further interventions. Selected pieces now feature in this year’s SpringART exhibition, reflecting a dynamic creative evolution, 5-7 September.
