Whoever you are, there’s a place for you at Feast.

Pridevember is three weeks of our community showing up loud, proud and exactly as we are, taking over the city and telling the world we’re here and we’re not going anywhere.

Come as you are, bring your people, or come solo and you’ll be among friends. Either way, you belong here.

1st to 22nd of November.

Today is Wear It Purple Day 💜

It all started right here in Australia back in 2010, when Katherine Hudson and Scott Williams founded Wear It Purple as a grassroots response to the bullying, harassment and isolation too many rainbow young people were facing, and the lives lost to it. Their message was simple: rainbow young people have every right to feel proud of exactly who they are.

So today, we wear purple for our young people. To let every LGBTQIASB+ young person know they're seen, they're loved, and they've got a whole community in their corner.

This year's theme is Colours of Courage, celebrating the many ways young people, their allies and their communities show bravery every single day. Speaking up. Standing out. Creating change. And simply living as their true selves. We're here for every shade of it. The courage it takes to be yourself. To stand up for someone else. To help build spaces where everyone gets to feel safe being exactly who they are.

To the young people finding their way right now: we see you, and there's a place for you here. Always 💜

And if today feels heavy, you don't have to sit with it on your own. QLife is there for a chat every day from 3pm to 9pm on 1800 184 527, and Kids Helpline is on 1800 55 1800, anytime day or night.

Behind every AQFF film, there are two people who have watched a lot of q***r cinema 🎬

If you haven’t already, meet our Adelaide Q***r Film Festival curators, Stuart Romeo-Richards and Jess Pacella, who have been shaping AQFF since 2024. For the past two festivals, they’ve been searching for the stories that make us laugh, surprise us, challenge us and remind us just how powerful it is to see q***r lives on the big screen.

And yes... they’ve been back at it again 👀

The 2026 program is coming on the 10th of September, and we can’t wait for you to see what they’ve chosen this time.

Last year at the Adelaide Q***r Film Festival 🎞️

So tell us, were you in the room for any of these? Drop a 🍿 if you were there, and tell us the night you remember most.
