Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week 2026, a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and go for reconciliation in Australia.
Since inception, WOMADelaide has championed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, providing a platform for stories to be shared through music, arts and dance. This year marked a powerful full-circle moment as Yothu Yindi returned to the festival for the first time since 1993, to celebrate 35 years of Tribal Voice.
You can find out more about First Nations artists who have performed at WOMADelaide over the past three decades and read our Reconciliation Action Plan at https://www.womadelaide.com.au/about/first-nations-artists.
