Mark Metaphor wrangled the cast of BurlesqueMANIA auditionees like it was a walk in the park, until he made the mistake of stepping into the ring himself! Butt, he was the last man standing with the coveted performers contract after the riotous rumble left the entire cast out for the count.

What happens when 50’s housewife meets 80’s aerobics queen? A bewitching match full of sorcery, seduction, sweatbands and severed heads of course! This one was a wet and wild ride that took the BurlesqueMANIA stage by storm!

The auditionees in this costume competition sure didn’t pull any punches! They absolutely brought their a game and showed off not only some of the best 80’s styles of the evening, but also some of the top burlesque wrestling moves we’ve seen to date! Featuring the local burlesque talent of Lulu London, De D'Luxe and Monty Mishap!

Sequin Le Noir entered the ring with the taste of victory on her lips but Ava Carter had other ideas and made her try another flavour. Ava had the vainglorious Sequin wondering if she had bitten off more than she could chew, but Sequin had some tricks up her sleeve and knew just how to use the chair to climb her way to victory.

Brandy Snap entered the ring determined to make a snack out of Blondie Sprinkles, but there wasn’t mushroom in the ring for these two sweet treats, and Blondie soon showed her that one lick of a funky li’l fungi can prove fatal!

From sworn rivals to the hottest duo in town, dancing queens Lizzy Baker and Ember Rose sent sparks and hair pieces flying in this intense dance off style match! Who knew sc******ng was a wrestling move! In a completely unexpected turn of events which no one saw coming, their big diva energies combined to create an undeniable attraction and put the ‘hot’ in haute couture.
