My Story
My name is Alice Begley, 29 years old living in little Adelaide, Australia. Recently married, saving for a house and graduate in interior styling where I studied with Sydney Design School. I am crazy passionate about God, people, life and changing the world. About 7 years ago in my early 20s, I felt very inadequate in comparison to the bigness of issues that exist and it limited me from
thinking of what I could do to make more of a difference in a world that cries out for hope. After months of prayer, God really put a burden on my heart for slavery + s*x trafficking and was reminded about a conference I attended in Sydney last year about the A21 campaign that tackles this very issue. Human trafficking is one of the biggest crisis's in the world today with 27 million men, women and children currently in modern-day slavery. Globally that's one more slave every 30 seconds and if that’s not a good enough reason for me to start doing the little I can do, than I don't know what is. God is really prompting me to take action and has given me the idea to use my CREATIVITY to raise money to make a change in broken lives who need change the most. Outside of my crazy life schedule, ART has become an important part of who I am today. Although I am no Picasso, I have grown up with experience in Acrylic Painting, sketching, photography, videography, craft-making, event-styling, calligraphy, hair and make-up as well as face-painting and body art. I completed a degree in Health Science and in my last year before graduating I decided to dedicate 2 months of my holidays to fundraise money by creating art for clients so that profits helped contribute to putting an end on Human Trafficking. All money donated will go straight to cost of material resources needed to create desired art work AND importantly to the A21 CAMPAIGN (a non-profit organisation) targeting global human trafficking. I now have developed my passion into not only finding people a home but making your current living space feel like a home. (Hence why I dived into to interior styling). I dream of growing this cause and share a lot of my work and heart on my Instagram: .co
