11 years ago a second year uni student thought the idea of waiting for an audition and then someone to give her an acting job was insane so she took matters into her own hands and starheART theatre & studios was born.

Over the past 11 years, we’ve:
- Performed 12 theatre shows (including 2 originals) and are in rehearsal for number 13! 🎭
- Received 5 star reviews, had newspaper articles written about us, a standing ovation and won an Adelaide Fringe Award! 🏆
- Sold out almost every fringe season 🎟️
- Made two feature films (one received a distribution contract!) 🎬
- Made season 1 of a sitcom and are in pre-production for season 2 🎥
- Performed interstate ✈️
- Worked with over 90 artists (predominately local but some who flew down from the USA, UK, Sydney & Melbourne just to be a part of one of our projects!) 🌏
- Added a film division: starheART studios 🎞️
- Celebrated Laura being named a semi-finalist in the 2023 South Australian Young Achiever Awards for her work with starheART🏅

We are accepting self tapes for the below roles until COB 25 September however we encourage you to submit your tape earlier than the deadline if possible. Thank you to all those who have submitted tapes already! 🎞️

In your slate, please specify your availability over April and May 2027 (weekday evenings and weekends). If you are auditioning for the role of Sloane, please state your height in centimeters. 📏

- Milo’s Mum (Female - 40+) Unpaid - one scene. Medicated, reads s**t, eccentric.
- Willa (white female - playing age 18) Profit share. Stereotypical Gen Z vibes. Milo’s little sister.
- Young Jupiter (approx 6 years old. Must have blue eyes. Ideally looking like a younger version of our Jupiter actress - see FB page for images) Unpaid - one scene.
- Young Milo (approx 6 years old. Must have blue eyes. Ideally looking like a younger version of our Milo actor - see FB page for images) Unpaid - one scene.
- Aunty (Vietnamese female - 40+) Unpaid - one scene. Traditional.
- Vallie (European background - 20-30) Profit share. A ‘woo girl’.
- Sloane (Female 25-35. Must be tall) Profit share. Flirtatious yogalaties instructor from Renmark. Unlikeable to the audience.
- Angel (Any ethnicity. Eccentric. 50+) Unpaid - one scene. A performing arts agent who has been in the family business for a long time.
- Waitress/waiter (Any ethnicity. 20-30) Unpaid - one scene.
- Drew (Any ethnicity. 25-35. Ideally LGBTQIA+) Profit share. Seth Rogan vibes and a bit awkward.
