Mini Memento brings together photographs gathered over the years - side streets, forgotten corners, architectural moments and quiet details - each reimagined in miniature.

The works encourage viewers to slow down and recognise the quiet beauty hidden in everyday spaces.

Please join us this Friday night at 6pm for our latest exhibition 'The Art of Connection'

Lily and Verna’s research traces the lives of artists Kiron and Gertrude Sinha.

In 1939, Bengali artist Kiron Sinha married Viennese-born artist Gertrude Hirsch, who was teaching art with the Theosophical Society in Madras. Her brother Leo Hirsch, who fled from fascist Europe to Adelaide became their enduring link across oceans and war.

Separated by conflict and loss, Leo supported the couple from afar — sending pigments, brushes, and funds that shaped Kiron’s distinctive palette and practice. His patronage also brought the Sinhas’ work to Australian audiences in 1952 and 1963, reuniting the siblings after decades apart.

BulbulArt continues this legacy of connection — reweaving a story of art, diaspora, and endurance.
