September 29 & 30 will see the exclusive Australian performance from Austrian band Kärnzeit. Held at the same time as Oktoberfest in Munich, it doesn’t get any more authentic than this! Both weekends will be filled with all your favourites from delicious pretzels, slap dancing, sauerkraut and of course mouth-watering German beers! Performances from Bund der Bayern - Adelaide's energetic Bavarian Dancers and the Adelaide German Band will complete the warm, fun-filled atmosphere. Join in on the fun and come dressed in your best Bavarian costume to be in the running to win the ‘Best Dressed’ Bavarian competition and start warming up those biceps for the ‘Strong-Arm’ competition. The German Club has long-established itself as the home of Oktoberfest in Adelaide, make sure you don’t miss the 29th year of The Original Adelaide Oktoberfest, it will definitely be one to remember!
