** Just a quick reminder that the track is still closed. **
We appreciate everyones patience and respect as we navigate through the winter season, it's for everyones benefit.
We understand it's frustrating, and we'll continue to try to run club days where possible, but the weather just hasn't been playing ball, and running on a soft, wet track will only do more damage.
Just to put it in perspective, we've had 3-4x the rain fall in May this year compared to May last year... 😔

Hang in there, we'll keep you informed.

Unfortunately, the winter weather is forcing our hand again, so we've CANCELLED Round 8 this Sunday. We'll keep trying and monitoring until we can run an event.

We have needed to cancel club racing again🤬. We were all looking forward to a run, but the track is still too soft (after all the rain) and there is more rain forecast tomorrow. We'll try again next weekend. *** The track is closed ***

Qualifying day here at the Canberra state titles.

Both cars are feeling great, thanks to a bit of help from Jayden Edmunds back at home.

Seeding is done, managed to top seed nitro buggy and seeded P2 for EP buggy.
First event with my new servo sponsor Power HD, really happy with them. Thanks to all my sponsors.

Unfortunately we need to postpone tomorrow's club racing. The track is just seen too much water in the last couple of days to be raceable. We will be looking to move this event to next weekend, weather permitting. It just needs a couple of days of no rain beforehand, and the current weather timing hasn't been good to us. 😩

In case you missed it in the event post, due to the rain today and forecast for tomorrow, we unfortunately decided to cancel tomorrows club day. We'll keep you posted about further events.

Hi all,
Just want to share a quick update. The practice session Sunday went very well and the new clay surface is proving itself already. We'll continue to monitor and maintain it as required while it beds in, but please note that the TRACK IS STILL CLOSED OUTSIDE OF SCHEDULED PRACTICE SESSIONS AND CLUB DAYS, and will be for the forseeable future.
We are very thankful for everyone doing the right thing so far, it shows a real respect for the work that's gone into the track, and we'll all be rewarded with an even better track in the long term!

We want to preface this by saying that while the track is complete, THE TRACK IS STILL CLOSED. Please respect the hard work of those who put countless hours into building the new track and stay off it for now. We simply don't have the manpower to maintain the track 24/7, so we'll have to be more structured with opening it up for use for the benefit of everyone.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes. Committee and club members have worked extremely hard on rebuilding the track, and as of yesterday afternoon, we have a complete track again. This will be a good basis to build from.

To allow for proper maintenance and such, the track will remain closed, but we'll be running more regular controlled practice days, starting this Sunday, April 26th from 9am. $10 for the day with timing.

For now, please stay off the track, and keep an eye out on our FB page for updates.
If you want to support the club and stay in the know more regularly, becoming a member is the best way to do so!
