Rare footage of independent play caught on camera✨🫶🥹🪷✨ (super rare for us - cherished for me).

She started casting magic spells after I ducked out to get something. When I came back I was in awe & hit record 🥹🫶✨

The way she was adding glass gems to our Lotus Potion Bowl and whispering her magical incantation to it, waving her hands is something to behold. Water Play is Magic. 🥹🫶✨

This bowl is what I reach for after she’s had a big day at daycare and needs to decompress. Great for the Witching hour too! We use it as a Volcano or as a Lotus Bowl. One for chaos. One for calm. 🧚✨

We enjoy a lot of fairy books (Cicely Mary Barker, Shirley Barber & more) & noticed fairies DON’T use cauldrons, they use flowers as their bowls and pots & many other botanical elements too!

THIS is why I designed our Lotus Potion Bowl. It had to feel real, as a fairy myself! Designed and made by my husband and in Adelaide, ready to ship in 1-3 days. 🪷🧚✨

It’s built to float on water, contain potion fizz with a 2nd rim for overflow. When flipped upside down it becomes a fizzy volcano when you add potion powder to the central cavity (see my other reels)!

Daycare. Work. Deadlines. I’m an Adelaide teacher mum who has to work away from home and family. I miss my three-year daughter old fiercely but like many mums I need to work to live. ❤️‍🩹

THE LAST THING I want is to be told by businesses that more of this sensory play will buy me alone time to go do more housework and drink my coffee warm. 🫪

That hook is getting old now. And I miss my daughter. So I’m focusing on connecting WITH her. Forget the housework. The world is on fire anyway. Give me my time back with my child. And make it whimsical while you’re at it. ✨🧚🫶✨

Let’s follow her play and go make some memories while we still can. She’ll never be this young again.✨🫶🧚✨
