COLOUR CREATIONS - CLOUD COVER

A group from the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours every week on Instagram, working in alphabetical
order. This is week 16 which is all about Cloud Cover, a muted light blue that is one of the 2025-2027 In Colors. I will be sad to see it go next year.

Also being featured is the amazing Botanical Glow bundle that includes dies for Hot Foiling a beautiful layer of foiled leaves. The leaves were silver foiled on White Willow cardstock then coloured with Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight, Hydrangea Hue and Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends combos together with my trusty Colour Lifter. Tip: Did you know you can colour over the foil with Stampin’ Blends to customise the foil’s colour? The leaves were fussy cut out and arranged over the stamped Cloud Cover leaves.

Some White Textured Ribbon was cut lengthwise and then partially frayed. A number of strands were formed into a circle and placed behind a white heat embossed Secret Sea sentiment. A number of Iridescent Pearls were scattered around. The sentiment is from the Framed and Fabulous stamp set.

Next in our Hop is the wonderful Kate

ARTISAN UNOFFICIAL INSTAHOP - AUGUST

Welcome to Group 2 of the Artisan Design Team’s Hop! ✨

This month we focussed on the gorgeous Festive Cheer bundle. This bundle includes Christmas Baubles, a pine die and a lovely word die for NOEL. The bundle is so flexible. The baubles have 2 step stamps that both stamp an outline as well as the infill so you have the option of just stamping or colouring.

The square card incorporates NOEL that was cut from Basic White cardstock backed with Dimensional Sheet and then coloured with ombre blended. The baubles were silver heat embossed. Some of the backgrounds were blended as was the pine. The slimline card has a water-coloured background and water-coloured pine die cuts. The pine was layered down the left side to give a sense of a tree edge. These baubles have 2-step stamping. I had so much fun creating these cards to share with you.

I love the way each of us applies our own style to the same bundle to share different creative projects. Do check out each of us in the Hop.

Next Stop: Berdien I adore Berdien’s creativity. Hop over to check her gorgeous projects.

Colour Creations - Cherry Cobbler

A group from the Art With Heart Team regularly hops through the Stampin’ Up! colours, working in alphabetical
order. This is week 15 which is all about Cherry Cobbler, a deep red that is perfect for Christmas and for poinsettias.

You may think it’s too early for Christmas creating, but I couldn’t resist and I couldn’t go past the Pretty Poinsettia bundle. The whole bundle is beautiful but the poinsettia dies are special. The dies feature a new Stampin’ Up! technique. The dies cut out the layered petals and then, using the die and the Impressions Plate, added dimension is given to the die cuts. I hope you see the effect on the flowers and leaves. The simple fun fold of this card was first created by Susan Campfield, a lovely US Demonstrator. If you are interested I recommend checking out a recent U-Tube by Susan.

Now to my card, as we are showcasing Cherry Cobbler, I started with a Cherry Cobbler card-stock base. The flowers and leaves were die cut from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and then the petals were water-coloured with Cherry Cobbler Classic ink and the leaves with Peaceful Pine ink. I love the effect of the different colours arising from water based inks. When the petals and leaves were almost dry they were run through the Cut & Emboss machine with the Impressions Plate. The petals were layered together with a touch of Tombow Liquid glue.

Basic White cardstock was embossed with the soon to be released Softly Woven 3D EF. Pine fronds were cut from Basic White. The sentiments were gold heat embossed. More touches of gold come from Gold Foil, Gold Striped Mesh ribbon and Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems.

Mail it Monday

A number of 2025 Stampin’ Up! Artisans come together once a month for Mail It Monday. We hope to encourage one another and those who see our Hop to create & send the cards we create to brighten the lives of family, friends and folk we know. Receiving a card in the mail can bring a smile and show the recipient that we care as we share our hearts through our creativity.

My card today is a fancy fold that I recently saw which had been shared by Susan Campfield. Susan is a lovely person who shares amazing inspiration through the fancy folds she creates. I converted her base measurements to cms and dimensions that suit A4 cardstock and have used the gorgeous Violet Dreams Speciality Designer Series Paper. Fancy Folds are a wonderful way to showcase beautiful DSP. The DSP was combined with Basic White dry embossed cardstock. The Violet Dreams DSP includes 2 sheets of push-out images of violets, leaves and labels. 2 groups of violets were combined with die cut Soft Sea Foam ferns, cut using the Fern and Flora dies. I also used the Framed Violets bundle to cut the scalloped oval label and white heat emboss the sentiment. The final touch - In Color Butterflies. Yes, this card folds up, as seen in one of the photos, and will fit into a standard C6 envelope. Also included is a top down photo showing a standing card.

I’m sending this card to a talented friend whose birthday I missed. Is there someone you know who needs or would appreciate an unexpected card in the mail. Let’s both send a card this week to bless someone we know.

While we predominantly share. via InstaHop some of us also hope folk on Facebook can take the hop too. Not everyone shares on Facebook. Here is the list for Facebook:

COLOUR CREATIONS - Calypso Coral

A group from the Art With Heart Team hops every week on Instagram showcasing Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical
order. We are at week 14 of the 2026-2027 cycle which is all about Calypso Coral, a softer orange.

My project also features the Sentimental Sentiments stamp set where the largest image was gold heat embossed a couple of times on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. The images were watercoloured using Calypso Coral and Old Olive with the fine tip Water Painter. Yes - they have been. fussy cut as there is no coordinating die. A Petal Pink design from the Lovely & Beautiful Speciality Designer Series Paper adornes the top of the background and a Basic White dry embossed a fern pattern sits in the lower section of the background. Some Pearlized Faceted Circles add some shimmer. They are so beautiful and have just moved to the Last Chance list and are discounted. Don’t miss out. I hope you like my card.

COLOUR CREATIONS - CAJUN CRAZE

A group of members of the Art with Heart Team regularly hop on Instagram to showcase each of the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. This is week 13 of the 2026/2027 cycle and it is all about Cajun Craze, a deep “rusty” orange.

Cajun Craze is brilliant for autumnal cards but I wanted to use it another way. I thought of the newly released Hot Foil products, including the gorgeous foiled butterflies. The bundle comes with a set of masks for colouring the butterflies. I gold foiled the butterflies and then coloured them with the amazing Butterfly Flight masks. A coordinating die cuts them out beautifully. A Basic White cardstock panel was stamped with flowers from the Sweetly Sentimental stamps and a sentiment was gold foiled using the Classic Greetings Hot Foil dies. A little Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Speciality paper was also cut using the butterfly die and butterflies fly over the card with some shimmer under their wings. Antique Pearls, coloured with the Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend, were sprinkled around the sentiment. Both the card inner and a C6 envelope were also stamped with the flowers.

BE INSPIRED BLOG & INSTAHOP - CREATING BACKGROUNDS

Where has the month gone? It’s the last Wednesday of July and the Be Inspired Design Team are hopping to showcase “backgrounds” with a theme of Creating Backgrounds.

There is an endless amount of backgrounds to choose to feature so after much consideration I chose a favourite background type, that is Dry Embossed Backgrounds. I adore the tone on tone subtle texture that is provided by embossing folders. This week I chose the gorgeous Floral Spray 3D embossing Folder to create a white on white textural background. It is simple but oh so effective. The cardstock doesn’t need to be white it could be any other colour or even multicoloured. The focal point of my card was formed by a banner cut using the Party Banner die at the bottom end. The Pressed Violets bundle and Fern & Flora dies were used to create ferns, violets & leaves. A little ink bending added some shading & depth and the stamped image was coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

Next in this Hop on Instagram is the amazing Angela Mieritz-Reid I can’t wait to see her wonderful background.

We are hopping from blog to blog and also a number of the Be Inspired Team Members also are InstaHopping this month. Here is the list of InstaHoppers:

COLOUR CREATIONS featuring Bubble Bath

A group from the Art With Heart Team hops weekly, working through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical
order. This is week 12 which is all about Bubble Bath. It is a beautiful soft pink that is wonderful for flowers, welcome baby and so much more.

My card is simpler than normal as time had disappeared on me. Having said that, it was one of those times when hardly anything worked and I needed to change plans and re-do multiple times. Does that happen to you too??? Given my creative difficulties, I am not 100% happy with my card. What do you think??? The card background features a piece of Bubble Bath Everyday Essential Mix & Match Designer Series Paper. The second largest Perennial Postage die cut the focal panel of Basic White card-stock. The main flower was gold heat embossed and infilled stamped with Bubble Bath using the Boutique Blossoms stamps. The little flower from the same set was stamped in Calypso Coral and and infilled with Petal Pink. The sentiment is from. the Words & Wishes stamps and the die cut leaves used dies from both the Fern & Flora dies and Boutique Blossoms dies. Both the Barely Blush & Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brushes added depth & shimmer to the flowers. A small piece of Natural Hues Speciality paper was coloured with Pecan Pie so a strip could ground the arrangement. Barely Blush Bordered ribbon was tied around the central panel and som Bubble Bath Dreamy Flowers were sprinkled around the sentiment. A few gold Flower Accents were also added.

Welcome to Group 2 of the Artisan Design Team’s InstaHop! ✨

This month we are focussing on the Summer Happiness bundle, a fun set that includes a Washi Tape with summery images. I really enjoyed creating with this bundle, even though, in the South Pacific, it’s currently winter. It’s always time for flip flops, a bit of sun, sun glasses, cameras and fruit.

My first card incorporates the Scenic Coast Speciality Designer Series Paper cut with a Spotlight on Nature die. Partly surrounding the sea scene are die cut flowers, flip flops and “sunnies”. When the card opens the sea scene can still be seen. The slim line card has an ombre Coastal Cabana background embossed with the Swirls of Magic embossing folder. Party Alphabet dies spell the word “ENJOY” and various Washi Tape images poke in and out of the letters. To tie it all together a twisted cord made with white bakers twine curls around the letters and images.

Don’t let this fun bundle pass you by. Do check out each of the Artisans in the group. There are amazing creations on show.

Next Stop: the talented Berdien . Berdien’s creations are always amazing.

COLOUR CREATIONS with Art with Heart

A group from the Art With Heart Team regularly hops through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical
order. This is week 11 of the 2026-2027 round which is all about Blueberry Bushel, a beautiful mid blue.

The gorgeous Scenic Coast Speciality Designer Series Paper uses Blueberry Bushel beautifully. It presents wonderful scenes over water and sky, including sunsets. There is an iridescence in the paper where sun or moon reflects, but this doesn’t show well in my photos, but in real life … I have used one of the scenes in an easel fold card that is based on pieces cut with the Everyday Arches dies. The Sunset Coast bundle and especially the amazing coordinating dies are also featured on my card. The scene has a sense of moodiness so I made the card a “Thinking of You” card. I love the subtle message of a light-house that is there and. brings light especially when life is unsettled and dark. The card front is fairly simple using DSP, lighthouse, a bird & fence; but when the card is open the sentiment and colourful shells adds life and interest to the overall image. Thank you for.
dropping by. Do check out everyone in the Instahop.

Next in our Hop is the amazing Cathy . Cathy is our wonderful Colour Creations Coordinator. Be sure to check out her gorgeous project/s.
