COLOUR CREATIONS INSTAHOP - HYDRANGEA HUE

A number of folk from the Art With Heart Team hop regularly through the Stampin’ Up! colours, working in alphabetical order. Recently we started afresh and are initially focussing on the new In Colours. This is week 4 where we are showcasing a beautiful colour, Hydrangea Hue. It's a light blue that has a little purple added.

Initially, I was planning to create 5 cards, 1 in each of the In Colours for a different hop but "life happened" and I realised that I wouldn't be able to get them allfinished for the other hop let alone create a card for this Hop. The practical side of me kicked in and I decided to use the Hydrangea Hue background for this hop.

A card base of Hydrangea Hue was layered with Basic White that had been ombre blended using Hydrangea Hue Classic ink and then splattered with both water and the Hydrangea Hue Shimmer Brush (I am having fun with the new Shimmer brushes). A second Basic White layer, which had a hole cut with an Arches die and then dry embossed with the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder, was added with Dimensionals. Soft Sea Foam, Basic White and Hydrangea Hue card-stocks were cut with dies from the Fern & Flora dies and the pieces were arranged around the LHS of the Arch. The sentiment is from the Words & Wishes bundle. All the products are from .

COLOUR INKSPIRATION INSTAHOP

Welcome to the Colour Inkspiration Insstahop as we support the launch of Challenge #210. For the next 2 weeks we are celebrating the new In Colours that will be around between 2026-2028. I am in love with these colours. My card today was going to be one of 5 where I featured one of the colours in each card. I created the bases with blended background and a white Arch shaped embossed frame. Then life got in the way and I realised I wouldn't be able to create five cards. I coloured some of the gorgeous Artisan Sketched DSP, mainly featuring Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine however touches of Hydrangea Hue, Barely Blush and Golden Glow colour aspects of the DSP. The flowers and leaves were all fussy cut and arranged around the die cut out area. The sentiment came from the Greetings for You Mx & Match Ephemera Pack. All of the products can be found on .

Make sure you continue on our Instahop to check out how the rest of the Colour INKspiration Crew used our gorgeous colour palette. Next up you are off to visit the wonderful Michelle

COLOUR CREATIONS INSTAHOP

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping every week through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. We are starting the Stampin' Up! year featuring the new In Colours. This is week 3 which is all about Golden Glow, a muted golden yellow.

To help showcase Golden Glow, I chose a new fun fold by Lisa Cursio, a Stampin' Up Demonstrator from the United States. The fold is called a Pop Up Bow card as the main panels resemble the shape of a bow. The card base is a mix of Perfect Pine and Golden Glow card-stocks and they have been covered by either Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper or Bloom Boutique Speciality DSP. Most of the designs selected incorporate Golden Glow flowers.

Flowers and a sentiment from the Fern & Flower stamps were gold heat embossed onto White Willow card-stock and then coloured using a Blender pen with Golden Glow and Perfect Pine Classic inks. Touches of Golden Glow Shimmer Pen added some depth and shimmer. These coloured flowers are featured on the central pop up Stylish Shapes circle. Some die cut Fern & Flora leaves/ferns had colour added using a Blending Brush and then they were tucked around the gold embossed images. The finishing touches included a Linen Twine bow, some Dewdrops Embellishment and a little Golden Glow Shimmer splatter..

Next in our Hop is the lovely Leanne
I wonder how she will use Golden Glow on her project. Don't miss her special project/s.

INSTAHOP by Artisan Design Team's Group 2

Welcome to Group 2 of the Artisan Design Team’s Hop! ✨

This month Group 2's Artisan Assignment was all about two bundles and the new Impressions process with the Impressions Mat. The two bundles that are the specially designed with impression dies are the Phrases & Frames and Opulent Oasis bundles. Using many of the dies to cut out fames or the large flower and then run them through a Cut "N Emboss Machine gives the embossed shapes an amazing 3D effect. I also used two different Designer Series Papers, ie Bloom Boutique Speciality DSP and Artisan Sketched Garden DSP when creating the 2 cards.

Don't miss out on checking out each of the talented Artisan's. We each have different styles but all of the projects are amazing.

Next Stop: Berdien
I absolutely adore Berdien's work so do make sure you check out her gorgeous projects.

Order of the hop:

COLOUR CREATIONS INSTAHOP

A group from the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. Initially we are focussing on the new In Colours for 2026-2028 and so week 2 is all about is all Crisp Cantaloupe. It is a beautiful soft orange.

I decided also to base my project around the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper that was coloured with Stampin' Blends. I used the combos of Crisp Cantaloupe, Perfect Pine, Barely Blush and a little Hydrangea Hue together with the Colour Lifter to add highlights. The floral images were fussy cut and realised they would suit a circles cut using the Spotlight on Nature dies. I also wanted to try a Sliding Fun Fold card. On a base of Crisp Cantaloupe, pieces cut from the amazing Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper - both sides of the same sheet were used, were mounted on Basic White card-stock. The sentiment came from the Phrases & Frames stamp set and some cute little butterflies give a little shimmer. Opps - I forgot to add a bow! Hmm - do you think the card needs it???

If you look through to the last photo you will see that as the card is opened, the inside of the card slides out of a pocket. Its simple but effective.

Next in our InstaHop is the lovely Leanne Mitchell
I wonder what she has created in Crisp Canteloupe. Be sure to check out her wonderful project/s and follow through to the other members of the team. There will be so much inspiration.

COLOUR INKSPIRATION CHALLENGE

Colour Inkspiration Challenges has just launched the next Challenge for the coming two weeks. Challenge #209 features a beautiful colour combination of Basic Beige, Cloud Cover, Gorgeous Grape and Garden Green.

Together with this colour combo, I am also featuring one of the new Stampin' Up! suites - Valley in Bloom. Specifically I have used the Lily of the Valley stamps & dies, Floral Spray 3D embossing folder and a little piece of Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper. I water coloured the die cut leaves and flowers using Garden Green and Gorgeous Grape and also stamped the flowers & leaves in Basic Beige and used the Blender Pen to colour. The stamped flowers were coloured in Cloud Cover. There is a little Basic Beige blending on the dry embossed background and well as a Basic Beige card base and the sentiment was stamped in Garden Green on Basic Beige card-stock.

Make sure you continue on the Instahop to check out how the rest of the Colour INKspiration Crew used our gorgeous colour palette. Next up you are off to visit Leonie .stuart . I can't wait to see Leonie's gorgeous project. (By the way you won.t see my name on the other lists because I thought I had signed up but OOPs I hadn't.)

MAIL IT MONDAY

Welcome to Mail It Monday where an international group of friends hope to share inspiration for creating and sending cards to bring a smile and some joy to those who receive our cards. It is so easy to become focussed on creating but it is so so important to share joy as well.

This month I am sharing 2 cards that were initially designed for the last Colour Inkspiration Challenge where we were celebrating the retiring Stampin' Up! In Colours. "Life happened" and my time was consumed so the cards weren't finish in time. While simpler than many of my projects, I do love the end product. I hope you and the recipients love them too. The backgrounds are ombre blending with water droplet bleaching and a little fine splattering. One background is lightly blended in Pretty in Pink with Peach Pie and the 2nd background is Pretty in Pink with Petunia Pop inks. The beautiful roses from the Gallery Blooms stamps were stamped in Secret Sea and coloured with retiring Stampin Blends in the same colours as the backgrounds. The die cut Basic White frames, leaves & flowers were cut using both Gallery Blooms and Beautiful Moments dies. The individual stamp sets and dies are all discounted on the Last Chance list at the moment. There are amazing discounts available

Next in this hop on Instagram is the amazing Pamela Blackwell -
I can't wait to see Pamela's creation. Do check out everyone's wonderful projects. There will be so much inspiration for making and sending cards.

COLOUR CREATIONS INSTAHOP - BARELY BLUSH

Members from the Art With Heart Team are hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. Celebrating the launch of the new May - August Stampin' Up! Catalogue we are starting afresh with week 1 being all about Barely Blush, the first of 5 new In Colours. It is a delightful pale pink. Love it.

My project also features the Boutique Blossoms bundle and the super gorgeous Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder, together with the Scalloped Blooms stamp set for the sentiment and the Stylish Shapes dies for the partial frame. The flowers & leaves were gold embossed and water-coloured in Barely Blush and Peaceful Pine inks with touches of Flirty Flamingo Watercolor Pencil to deepen the shading of the flowers. Extra leaves were die cut from Gold Foil & Iridescent Sunset Shimmer velum. There is a little Pool Party blending in the background.

Next in our Hop is the amazing Vicki

Members of the CASEing the Catty Crew have just gone live to announce the next Sunday Challenge which is to CASE your favourite stamp set from the retiring 2025-2026 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I chose a card featuring the super gorgeous Gallery Blooms stamp set. Deciding to replace old with new I have featured the new Velvet Meadow Suite and similarly make a wreath with flowers & leaves from the very special Velvet Meadows speciality paper. Basic White die cuts using the detailed leaves and flower dies from the Flowering Meadow dies. I have provided more details on my blog of how I created this wreath card.

At CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge on Facebook we would love to see your CASE of a project using your favourite stamp set from the retiring Annual Catalogue. Please pop over to Facebook upload a photo this week of your creation to the main wall of CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge.
