New Substack article! This one’s about talented local oil painter and mural artist Max Ballard ( .n.b ). Had a lovely time sitting down with Max in his home studio to discuss his practise, creative process, adoration for the artwork of Jeffrey Smart, and the exhibitions he has lined up this year. His next exhibition opens on March 28th at Collective Haunt in Norwood, come along and check out his fantastic art!

Hi all! I’ve just published a new article on my Substack, ‘The Infinite Rise’. This one reviews the debut EP ‘Dandelion Crown’, released in December 2023, with a brief overview of the history of the psych-rock genre, and an analysis of how Pink Duke has found their own groove in the ever-expanding realm of modern psychedelic rock music.

It’s a 9-10 minute read, featuring photos from and some I’ve taken myself. I’d really love to hear your thoughts! There’s a link below to read. I’ve got a few really exciting interviews lined up with some talented Kaurna Land musicians. If you’re interested in collaborating, please shoot me a message.
