Important announcement.

With the recent sale of the Bowden studio property, which housed Disk-Edits, the services we provide have changed.

We will continue to provide CD/DVD duplication and pressing, vinyl pressing and artwork services, but mastering and recording services will no longer be available through Disk-Edits.

We started Disk-Edits 28 years ago to provide professional audio services to local artists and businesses. Neville's vision for a purpose-built mastering studio was realised in 1999, and many of you would have sat with him in the studio while your projects were being mastered. He loved his work and was proud of, but also humbled, by what we achieved.

We are pleased that music production and mastering services will continue at the Bowden studio by the building's new occupiers Alex Mader, and Max & Leena Hurrell of Songbird Society. We are excited to see how the studio will evolve and continue to serve the SA music community under their lead.

The property which has housed the Disk-Edits studios for over 20 years is for sale.
We will continue to provide mastering and recording services until such time as a new owner/occupier is found.

It is with great sadness we are posting to announce that on Friday 7th August we said goodbye to Neville Clark, who passed away surrounded by his family.

Neville lived with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma for 20 years and approached life with energy and optimism, even to his last days.

He will be missed by his family, friends and the music industry he loved.

A year ago already.
Congratulations Hilltop Hoods on your continued success.
Lots of hard work and perseverance by everyone.

One year ago today we released ‘The Great Expanse’. It was our eighth studio album and it was a long time coming, dropping five years after the previous album, ‘Walking Under Stars’.

The album featured production from One Above, Cam Bluff, Plutonic Lab, VIIV and . It featured vocals from Ecca Vandal, Nyassa Music, Timberwolf, Adrian Eagle and Ruel. The only featured Hip Hop artist was Illy.

It was our first album completely mixed by a third party - Plutonic Lab. It was also the first time we enlisted some guest writers for a project - Thief (Fire & Grace) and (Exit Sign.)

As always Neville Clark at Disk-Edits Pty Ltd mastered the album and April77 Creative handled the graphic design (and for the first time the illustrations.)

Along with UMusic Australia, Sony/ATV Music Publishing Australia and Blue Max Music, we have an incredible team.

‘The Great Expanse’ has taken us on a journey over the last year that we’ll never forget. Thanks to anyone that has bought it, streamed it, shared it, stole it or has came and seen us perform it live over the last year. We’ve had a ball. 💚

PS - We’re back in the studio writing and going through beats for a new album already. There may be another ‘Restrung’ project on the way as well. 😉
