Originally from Lille, Max is a young music enthusiast focusing on energetic, jacking and mental techno. His love for electronic music took another dimension after moving to Berlin in 2017, where he started collecting records from artists like Steve Stoll, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, and many more. For our latest edition of Pace Selections we welcome founders of Kollektiv Synergie, drxvo and Brandyy. Based in Hannover, Germany, the 21 year old duo have both been DJing and producing techno for over a year now and proudly owns their own label where they upload premiers, EPs, and a weekly podcast series called Syncast. For our 10th edition of Pace Selections, we welcome to the team, Nona. With previous mixes on respectable labels such as Kollektiv PVC, Bleak Narrative, RAVEU and AVA, Nona is one of the most promising underground techno DJ's coming out of Berlin right now.
Here's what he has to say:
'Music has always fascinated me. Since I was a child I've always dealt intensively with music across many genres. Whether it was metal, indie, synth-pop, psy-rock or rap. Electronic dance music, especially techno, captivated me in a very special way for several reasons. It creates an atmosphere over a longer period of time that can tell whole stories, no mere stringing of songs with pauses in between – one thing I love about DJing. Plus, of course, come together and dance in beautiful spaces that I've experienced in countless club nights in Berlin and other cities such as Tiblisi. Dancing is a great passion of mine, which I love to do in interaction with other people to fast beats in a wild and mesmerizing environment.
For my current style of DJing, I’m focusing on a high tempo and a selection of driving and hypnotic as well as some sort of groovy sounds, which can also be found in this mix.
In addition to my solo project as Nona, I'm also part of a DJ duo consisting of and me, where we can try out other tastes of sounds, which in turn influences ours and the other way around.
For me, techno is not just about DJing and dancing, it's political. It offered and is still offering opportunities to create places of freedom of expression where alternative cultures and identities come together creating new spaces of experience that the world urgently needs. Never forget where techno came from and what values it stands for!

With a keen ear for all types of sounds, Danny DIY has been making waves of his own in the Adelaide scene for some time now. Co-founding Groundfloor Radio, Danny has spent time putting established and upcoming artists on a platform with weekly radio shows and segments targeting certain aspects of the scene in Adelaide.
