Information Update – Australian International Tattoo & Veterans Festival of Remembrance

Hi everyone,

I know we’re all waiting for the big announcement regarding the Australian International Tattoo and Veterans Festival of Remembrance.

A couple of months ago I was hoping to bring you positive news, but like a lot of things, we’ve faced some delays. High-end event planning is never simple.

This week I received some very positive news that I hope will finally put an end to the wait. I’m not trying to tease — I just want to keep you all informed. I’m pretty convinced this will be a pivotal month.

My team is pumped and ready. They contact me every day wanting news and already preparing. Things are shaping up well and moving quickly now.

And there’s more: Several international bands are more than keen to join us down under. Once secured, we’ll let you know who’s coming.

Sorry if it feels like a tease, but I promise the wait will be worth it.

What’s coming:
I’ll be shutting this site down soon. A new Facebook site will be generated. Before I do, I’ll make a brief announcement and give you all one week to send your details for the early bird ticket release. The discount is my way of saying thank you for your patience.

Ticketing:
The Tattoo: 3 levels of tickets
The Festival: 2 levels of tickets
New for 2027 and beyond and Before the shows, you’ll have the opportunity to join us for dinner or afternoon tea (Tattoo only). A prominent media personality will host a Q&A with VIPs and band members. I might even make an appearance… lol.

The public will have the option to attend all three functions, two shows, or just one.

The important part:
All proceeds, after costs, will go to veterans’ mental health programs. One charity we’re considering is purchasing support dogs for veterans. From puppy to handover the cost is $50,000 per dog. We hope to fund several litters. Just one idea of how your support will make a difference.

Stay tuned everyone.

Rather disturbing figures I think. If you know anyone who may need assistance, please send them in the right direction. If you are one of the unaccounted for veterans, it really doesn't hurt to ask what you might be entitled to; considering what you have sacrificed....

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BXcnSTbWF/

The 2021 Census counted 581,000 veterans. DVA's system has 302,000.

The gap is 279,000 veterans invisible to the system built to support them. Many are from the post-2000 generation. Many never lodged a claim.

You can't support people you can't find.

This ANZAC Day, we remember.

At dawn, we’ll stand together.
For the ANZACs who landed at Gallipoli.
For every Australian and New Zealander who has served since.
For those who came home, and those who didn’t.

They gave their today so we could have our tomorrow.
Lest we forget.

The Veterans Festival of Remembrance and Australian International Tattoo team is with you this ANZAC Day — not just in silence, but in action.

While our inaugural festival will be held on Remembrance Day November 11, 2027, our purpose lives every day of the year. ANZAC Day reminds us why we do this: so the stories, the sacrifice, and the struggle don’t fade.

Too many of our veterans carry battles we can’t see. That’s why our shows exist — to honour the past, and to raise awareness and funds for mental health programs supporting veterans and their families.

So this ANZAC Day, we ask you:
Remember them. Say their names.
Check on your mates.
And when November 11 2027 comes, stand with us at the Veterans Festival of Remembrance so no one is forgotten.

From all of us to all of you —
We will remember them. Lest we forget
