It’s what I’m always advocating. The classics from the 80’s are good, but the new material is bursting onto the scene with a plethora of selections.

If ever we needed proof of just how vital community radio is to the national music landscape, one only needs to look toward a new study released this month.

I will be spending the next few weeks in Sydney but have some cracker prerecorded shows and will be patronising a few Sydney Jazz and Blues venues and local gigs. Sorry I won’t make it to Cronulla Jazz & Blues Festival because it’s just a little too far from the Northside of Sydney. Shoutout to Paul Blasi and I will definitely pop in to Miss Celie's . I’m absolutely loving the surge in the popularity of live music in jazz and blues. Rock on Sydney and rock on Adelaide. (I actually think Adelaide is winning on the live music scene calendar) - sorry Sydney siders.
