Adelaide-based collective Eliza’s Inc debuts De STIG at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe.
De STIG is a humorous look at what it means to be an adult on the Austim spectrum. Brendan Clare was diagnosed with autism in his 40s. He faces his fears to tell his story with humour and heart. Brendan will look back on moments that were bewildering and disturbing, but now seem profound and illuminating.
This is a no holds barred look at what it means to be an adult on the spectrum. Brendan will stare his anxiety clear in the eye, talk about why we don’t say Asperger’s anymore, ruminate on
procrastination, grump about ‘But you don’t look autistic’, and explain why John Shepherd pops up from time to time. Come find out what makes this non-typical person tick.

Eliza’s Inc
We're a collective of 3 friends who have known each other for 30 years. We are friends first, collaborators second. Together we form Eliza's Inc, named after the coffee joint we used to hang at when we were young.
