This is a Pastel Painting of one of my nieces 3 grandchildren playing at ‘Myponga Beach’ Sth Aust. I’ve titled it ‘Very Special Memories’, as this place holds wonderful memories for our extended family reaching back 100 yrs. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends would camp down at Myponga, every Easter, Christmas and long weekends, my dear Brother who would have been 93 yrs old now, had his 21st Birthday Party in a shack one of my Aunts used to rent, it was a dress up party, and I remember, I was almost 6 yrs old, and Mum dressed him as a bride, fantastic times. Our children and my sisters children grew up also loving this special place, and now our childrens children also still love to holiday there. Although unfortunately it is now Millionaires Row, there is one of the first shacks built on the beach front, still standing, which our families have been able to hire until recently.
