This morning I sat down for a couple hours and made a Christmas wreath for the client meeting room at my workplace.

I'm currently on maternity leave, but pop in regularly to share baby cuddles and keep in touch. I've made wonderful friends and count myself so lucky to have fallen on my feet here after being made redundant at my previous workplace (which turned out to be the best thing that could have happened!)

Openbook Howden is the most welcoming and loving place I have ever worked. I'm part of a great group of people, and even though I'm on leave I still feel like a real part of the OBH family.

I gifted this wreath in the corporate colours as a little thank you, and I think it looks pretty good for the first time I've made one! 👍🏻

Today on my turners:
Honey tumbler getting its first layer of epoxy over the decals, and a dirty pour getting its first layer of epoxy since the paints dried.

I'm not very good at finishing tumblers...!! However I've just started using amazing quick coat epoxy from and it's made me hate epoxy time a lot less

🤣🤣🤣

It felt like such a chore before, and it annoyed me only being able to work on a couple tumblers a day. Now as long as I have motivation I can be productive!

Happy New Year! Something a little different for me on my first day of 2022... Tried my hand at a pair of resin earrings.

Definitely nothing special or groundbreaking, but I had fun 👍🏻

My first time playing with alcohol inks using a more fluid flood method on my turner rather than painting/dabbing by hand... Not bad at all. I'm not mad at the result.

Does anyone have recommendations for sealing alcohol inks? I was thinking of trying the dishwasher safe
