All good things must come to an end.
After 21 events and highlighting 54 local DJs together with 3 internationals, it’s time to enjoy being a punter again.
The bell will ring for a final time next Friday at our last event with Anthea.
The inception of Spin Lizzy stems from nothing more than a mutual love of music between 6 friends.
Whilst the scale and crowds of our events continue to grow, 3 and soon to be 4 of our members are about to depart our city.
Over the past 12 months it has been difficult to enjoy our events without all of us present and it is starting to deteriorate the key pillars of what our collective was built on.
In the essence of preserving what is left of our ethos, now is the right time to take a step away and enjoy from afar.
We never anticipated playing such a substantial role in the underground community however we are grateful for our opportunities and support.
We hope that our story and ways of working help inspire new creatives to start contributing to our city’s fabric and help bring a spark back to the level of community and collaborative engagement that was visible amongst the pandemic.
