Today, the block of clay at Sturt House was transformed into a pinball machine. With thoughtful hands and curious minds, children carefully broke away pieces of clay and added them to the surface, creating pathways for a clay ball to travel.
What began as an idea became an exploration of design, problem-solving, and creativity. As children tested, adjusted, and reimagined their work, the clay evolved into more than a machine. It became a work of art—holding the traces of children's thinking, learning, and imagination within every carefully placed piece.
Clay continues to be a powerful language for children, inviting them to shape their ideas, make their thinking visible, and transform imagination into something tangible.
