Fifth Business Theatre Company

Fifth Business Theatre Company provides a unique Performing Arts experience, catering for participants of all ages.

Our staff have years of experience and are passionate about nurturing artists and seeing them thrive in their creative potential. YOUTH TEAM
This programme is open to students currently studying from Year 4 to Year 12. Students will participate in weekly skills training classes and work towards showcases or productions throughout the year. Classes run on Saturday morning from 10:00am until 12:30pm

throughout each term. THE STUDIO
This program is a collaborative ensemble specialising in creating self-devised work and skills training. The Company is open to adults who have completed Year 12 and are looking for a weekly connection with fellow thespians to grow in their theatre skills, develop a positive Performing Arts community and participate in the creation, production and performance of theatre. Sessions run on Monday evenings from 7:30pm until 9:30pm throughout each school term. THE SPACE
This is our semi-professional performance focussed branch. Participants, rehearsal details and performance season vary depending on the project. PRODUCTIONS
We will hold Showcases throughout the year for our Saturday School students. Students will not need to audition for these performances. An Annual Production will take place each year. Students will be required to audition if they wish to take part in this production. The Theatre Company will not accept under any circumstances, requests for participants to be given preferential treatment in auditioning or given a part. The final determination of each part or role shall rest with the Directors.

From the strong and spirited Young Jane to the gentle and wise Helen Burns, these roles are full of heart, storytelling, and opportunities to shine on stage. This is a wonderful chance for young actors to be part of a powerful, ensemble-driven production.

We're only 5 days away from the Information Night of our 2027 Adelaide Fringe production of JANE EYRE, A MUSICAL DRAMA!

We cannot wait to bring this musical retelling of Charlotte Brontë’s timeless story — and we'd love you to join us!

We’re have roles for both adult actors (18+) and young actors (Years 6–12), and are looking to cast performers who are ready to collaborate and engage in moving storytelling.

IMPORTANT - young actors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the Information Night.
