Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me messages reminiscing about our collective entertainment experiences over the past few years at the Royal Adelaide Show and especially to Sue Scott for her beautiful tribute on Facebook about that Shane International Events & Entertainment journey. Although I’m not part of the Show this year I am very humbled by everyone’s kind comments and thank you all so very much.

Sue’s post sums it up well: my team and I started providing roving entertainment in 1998 and 27 years later who would have thought we would have achieved so many amazing milestones including curating and managing: the Boulevard Stage for 18 years, 2 Main Arena Spectaculars, 8 years of the Goyder Plaza Kids Corner entertainment, 9 years of Licensed Character Shows, the amazing Energy OZ augmenting the fireworks with live singing, the creation of 42 bespoke acts for on stage and around the grounds, the Talent on Show competition and producing 9 major song and dance shows on the Goyder Stage, two of which achieved national “Best Achievement in Entertainment” awards.

I’m truly grateful to all the talented and dedicated artists, both on stage and behind the scenes, who were the real stars that helped make this journey possible. I am so exceptionally proud and sincerely honoured to have shared these magnificent productions with each of you and although I’m taking a break from the Show this year to focus on new entertainment projects, I look forward to working with you all again very soon.

A huge shout out also to my loyal and impeccable creative team Rhys Bobridge, Sue Scott, Yvonne Kuhn, Matt Roberts and Manda Flett ….and recently Shenayde Patterson. Plus, a very big thank you to the South Australian public and entertainment community for supporting our shows and providing magnificent positive feedback. We are immensely grateful.

Chookers to all the performers at this year’s Show and once again my deep and sincere thanks to everyone who has communicated their love and best wishes over the past few days.

Just a quick heads up that our wonderful cast will not be performing an 11am show tomorrow (Friday). Don’t you worry though, we will still be performing at 1pm, 3pm and 6pm.
