Somnia - Fringe The show about SLEEP:
That place where hallucinations & flights of fancy meet.
We will be returning for 2023, with even more dreams!

We are a locally produced show based upon the lived experiences of the sleeping disorder Narcolepsy. The narrative is an immersive artistic exploration of the debilitating symptoms people with Narcolepsy face on a day-to-day basis. These include: Vivid life-like dreams, night-terrors, sleep paraylisis, sleep-walking, and other visions/hallucinations when moving between wakefulness and sleep. The p

erformers draw from cabaret, aerial, side-show, contemporary dance, burlesque & performance art backgrounds. The cast are all local artists, including performers who are neurodiverse, members of the LGBTI+ community, and 1 member diagnosed with the disorder. We debuted in Gluttony for Fringe 2021, followed by a season in The Garden for 2022. Our reviews are posted on our main page, and more photos can be found at our Instagram: somnia_theshow
