an excerpt of “My Head Stood, a Larkspur” debuted at and ‘s Scratch Night & brand new launch of CONNECT. Over the next Two years CONNECT will produce not only Scratch Nights of brand new South Australian work, but public Play Readings, a Play Library and Commissions. CRAM was thrilled to attend the Launch of this exciting new program on Kaurna Yerta, to hear new works and celebrate with the incredible community & industry this state has to offer ⚡️

“‘My Head Stood, a Larkspur’ is about ritual. It’s about continuity, and tapestry. We all have religion; spirits that we keep to ourselves. We might be sitting under a gumtree in April or May, and we might listen as the sky comes alive with the songs of Honeyeaters. But then it gets dark, and suddenly home is very far away.

That’s how it feels to me: about men missing the point, despite their love.
