One day I’ll list everything I’ve made from these jetty timbers. Today, it’s a water filter stand. 🥰

Beeswax turns this old jarrah dark, quick and easy to apply, but my preference is keeping it lighter! Third type of finish I’ve done with these. Looks great in the space though, and I know someone would appreciate it. 🫶🏻

Two stories follow this particular piece of timber, one with such a bizarre series of unfortunate events and the other a part of a love story, which ultimately ends with a baby!

Gifted as part wedding anniversary part baby gift to a gorgeous farming family who borrowed this log as part of the decoration down their wedding aisle. It’s only a year late for paper as the first year anniversary, but timely as a gift for their first born. 🥰

One of my favourite past times is calling our Pa and chatting wood with him. Not often a timber will stump him (pun intended 😜) but this lovely piece of timber was taken from the Goomalling area near a swamp. Lovely and soft to work with- timber unknown. 🙃

This pine was cut by my Dad in August 2021 and I’ve been patiently waiting for it to start letting go of its bark, slowly slowly drying out……

I decided to leave a lot more natural feature on this one as pine can be notoriously boring, but next the one, I’ll definitely be stripping it right back for a Scandi look.
