Tanz Atelier Wien, established in 1988 by the choreographer, Sebastian Prantl and the pianist, Cecilia Li as a laboratory for contemporary dance, music and interdisciplinary positions, develops projects and productions and networks them globally. In the foreground of the artistic approach is the unswerving search for the special relationship between dance, sound and visual space and the existence

of the uniqueness of its form of expression opening up into something self-contained and interwoven. They engage in a dialogue, exchange personalities, touch one another in achronological confrontation, abstract themselves and finally offset one another.
