Anyone who shares this love for music is welcome to join in. We are a mixed choir of many ages, genders, confessions and nations, located in Vienna, Austria, and we share a common enthusiasm in singing. Our conductor Matthias Krampe is a well renown expert in sacred music, so the focus lies in this field, ranging from renaissance up to contemporary music. An important and enriching part of both re
hearsal and performance is introducing the historical performance practice. Bach, Leechner, Rauch, Schütz, Schein, Telemann, Purcell, Dowland or Franck are – at the same time as Mozart, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy or Brahms – part of our repertoire, but also contemporary composers such as Büchtger, Honegger, Jennefeldt, Nordal, Nystedt, Rutter, Copland, Sløgedal or Myškinis. Concerts are sometimes a capella, but mostly together with vocal soloists and orchestra or instrumentalists.
