The Vienna Residence Orchestra performs Viennese classical masterpieces in authentic chamber renditions Das Wiener Residenzorchester, ein Kammerorchester mit langer Tradition, wurde vom Pianisten und Dirigenten Paul Moser und Gattin Sylvia Moser gegründet, um die Werke der Wiener Klassik in höchster Vollendung aufzuführen. Die zahlreichen Veranstaltungsreihen der letzten Jahrzehnte wurden in Wiens

schönsten Palais durchgeführt. Das Orchester spielt Werke von Mozart bis Johann Strauss in Besetzung von 10 bis 40 Musikern. 1991 war das Orchester der offizielle Österreichvertreter bei den Mozart Gedenkfeierlichkeiten und spielte zahlreiche Konzerte beim Festival "Wiener Klangbogen".

The Vienna Residence Orchestra, a chamber orchestra with a long tradition, was established by the pianist and conductor Paul Moser and his wife Silvia Moser in order to present the Viennese classics in their full glory. A great number of events in recent decades have been presented in Vienna’s most beautiful palaces. The orchestra plays pieces from Mozart to Johann Strauss with between 10 and 40 musicians. In 1991 the orchestra was the official Austrian representative at Mozart’s anniversary celebrations and played numerous concerts at the “Wiener Klangbogen” festival.
