Like the Four Seasons themselves, the dancers of 𝐼𝓁 𝒞𝒾𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉𝑜 𝒹𝑒𝓁𝓁’𝒜𝓇𝓂𝑜𝓃𝒾𝒶 𝑒 𝒹𝑒𝓁𝓁’𝐼𝓃𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃𝑒 seem determined to keep turning all year round. After Brussels, London, Bergen and the 彩の国さいたま芸術劇場 in Tokyo they continue their journey through Japan before bringing the cultural season to a close at the ImpulsTanz Festival in Vienna.

Eun-Me Ahn, one of Korea’s most internationally acclaimed choreographers and founder of the Ahn Eun Me Company 안은미컴퍼니, brings her vivid, pop-infused universes to Vienna. Often described as “Asia’s Pina Bausch”, she bridges shamanic roots, contemporary dance and pop culture, presented in two Austrian premieres alongside an artist talk.

The choreographers from our 2026 [8:tension] series have one thing in common – they belong to a generation that not only transforms, but also re-generates! “Alive, alert & angry – the re-generation” is the theme of this year’s [8:tension] programme, in which artistic directors Breanna O'Mara and Chris Haring bring together 11 voices from all over the world – presenting contemporary choreography as a vibrant resonance chamber of a generation that refuses to be pacified.

Die Sonnenwende am 21. Juni markiert nicht nur den Beginn des Sommers auf der Nordhalbkugel, sondern auch den längsten und damit hellsten Tag des Jahres. Das mehrstündige Performance-Programm „PW LIVE: In Living Daylight“ wurde speziell für diesen Tag und für die Ausstellung „Lebt und arbeitet in Wien“ konzipiert. Von morgens bis abends formieren sich zwischen Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz und Museumsquartier Gesten, Texte und Klänge von in Wien lebenden Künstler:innen unterschiedlicher Generationen: Bryony Dawson, Paul Ebhart, Alix Eynaudi, Han-Gyeol Lie, maria mercedes (Julia Müllner & Camilla Schielin), Sainkho Namtchylak, Evelyn Plaschg und Frank Wasser.
