On May 22, we come together in front of Radio Orange, for music, solidarity, and collective presence. Meet the voices that will be with us.

GATAFIERA is a Vienna-based q***r trans Latinx duo blending reggaeton and baile funk with drum & bass and rock into a high-energy, genre-defying sound. Since their debut single “Perreo Deculonizado” (2024) and album SUDACA ATACA (2025), they’ve built a reputation for electrifying live shows and a bold artistic voice rooted in identity, resistance, and global club culture. More than a concert, GATAFIERA delivers an immersive experience that celebrates individuality and challenges the status quo.

DJ Kojo is a seasoned open-format DJ and radio presenter with nearly four decades behind the decks. Since launching his career in the late 1980s, he has become a respected figure in both the UK and Ghanaian music scenes spinning at legendary clubs, commanding festival stages, Community events and bringing energy to corporate events of all sizes.
With deep roots in the UK club scene during its most influential eras and a pivotal role in Ghana’s evolving nightlife and radio landscape, DJ Kojo bridges continents and generations through music. His versatility across genres and his ability to read any room have made him a go-to selector for crowds seeking authenticity, experience, and an unforgettable vibe.

C.U.N.T.S (Creative Unique and Notably Talented Souls) is rap cypher and battle incubator created to reclaim and infiltrate space within the rap culture that is still dominated by cis male, misogyny and repetitive narratives. With the C.U.N.T.S, we want to open a platform where empowerment, vulnerability and playful experimentation become the new bars. Where we celebrate diverse identities and create a movement where lyrical skill and CUNTNESS outweighs machismo performance and behavior.

P—I—C series — a space for coming together in a moment that calls for solidarity, presence, and collective response.

In recent months, many of us have been navigating increasing pressure: budget cuts, shrinking spaces for culture and assembly, and a growing sense of fragmentation and isolation. What does it mean to stay connected under these conditions? How do we continue — together?

PUBLIC — INTERVENTION — COMMUNICATION

We gather in public space, in front of Radio Orange 94.0 — an independent community radio broadcasting in more than 20 languages and an important platform for diverse voices in Vienna. Supporting Radio Orange also means supporting the possibility of being heard.

The day begins with a FLEA market in support of Radio Orange and gradually moves into the evening program — creating a shared space for encounters, exchange, music, and collective presence.

Diskriminierungskritische Trainings für Jurys

Museum im WUK

Aufbauend auf den Erkenntnissen des ersten Treffens vertieft die Arbeitsgruppe die Entwicklung konkreter Tools für das Netzwerk. Wir gehen in die Praxis um die Methoden weiter zu denken. Im Fokus steht die gemeinsame Konzeption von Call-In Cards – einem kritischen und zugleich spielerischen Tool für Jurydiskussionen, Lern- und Entscheidungsprozesse.

Die Karten sollen dabei unterstützen, diskriminierungskritische Perspektiven einzubringen, mögliche Biases sichtbar zu machen und Reflexionsräume innerhalb von Auswahlverfahren zu öffnen. Gemeinsam werden erste Prototypen entwickelt, getestet und für die weitere Anwendung im Netzwerk geschärft.

Keine Verlängerung der aktuellen Leitung am Schauspielhaus Wien

Die Pressekonferenz am Donnerstag, 30.4.2026, hat mehr Fragen aufgeworfen als beantwortet und verstärkt Zweifel an der Transparenz und Nachvollziehbarkeit des Bestellungsverfahrens der neuen Leitung.

Nur durch Transparenz, Nachvollziehbarkeit und echten Dialog kann das verloren gegangene Vertrauen wiederhergestellt werden.

Daher fordern wir:

1. Die Überprüfung sowie die transparente Darstellung der Verfahren, ihrer Abläufe und der Kommunikation im Zusammenhang mit der Neuausschreibung von Theaterleitungen nach vier Jahren.

2. Die vollständige Offenlegung über alle zentralen Entscheidungsprozesse, insbesondere zur “strukturellen Partnerschaft” (Zeitpunkt, Initiative des Konzepts und Zielsetzung auf langfristige Sicht, die Vertragslaufzeiten TEATA versus Schauspielhaus) sowie eine nachvollziehbare Aufklärung der Jury-Kriterien und ihrer Zusammensetzung.

3. Eine ernsthafte inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit der öffentlich geäußerten Kritik und dem offenen Brief von Sabine K**k und den Erstunterzeichnenden Doron Rabinovici, Aslı Kışlal, Airan Berg, Max Czollek.

Keine Verlängerung der aktuellen Leitung am Schauspielhaus Wien

Die aktuelle Leitung des Schauspielhaus Wien – Marie Bues, Martina Grohmann, Tobias Herzberg & Mazlum Nergiz – wird nicht über 2027 hinaus verlängert.

Wir bedauern zutiefst, dass diese Arbeit unterbrochen wird – und erklären uns solidarisch mit unseren Kolleg:innen. Wir verlangen eine Offenlegung des Entscheidungsprozesses und ausführliche Begründung über die Entscheidung.

Spot on Film x SİNEMAplural

Für die zweite Ausgabe von SİNEMAplural vergibt D–Arts in Kooperation mit Gewächshaus, ermöglicht durch das Österreichische Filminstitut (ÖFI) und unterstützt von Kulturen in Bewegung, zwei Stipendien in der Höhe von je 1.250 € für BIPOC und/oder (post)migrantische Teilnehmende aus Österreich. Die Teilnahme am Fellowship ist kostenfrei. Das Stipendium ist ein Kostenbeitrag für die Reise der Teilnehmenden nach Berlin. Zeitliche Verfügbarkeit und Teilnahme an allen vier Theorie- und Praxismodulen ist verbindliche Voraussetzung. Die Sprache des Programms ist Deutsch.

WHO:This is a gathering centering q***r and/or BIPOC and/or (post)migrant perspectives and moving image practitioners that enact anti discriminatory practice. We invite filmmakers, curators, moving image artists, film festival organizers, critics, mediators, and those aspiring to be to join us.
