✨ Another major highlight of the AMADEUS Festival Vienna 2026 is our beloved𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 & 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲, a day completely dedicated to joy, laughter, and excitement!
🥳 This special day celebrates children, families, and our vibrant community with a fantastic lineup of outdoor activities. Throughout the day, families can dive into an array of interactive experiences, including 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐢𝐮 𝐉𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩, 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.

🎶 On 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟖 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞, the 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐨 took to our Festival stage for their debut performance, presenting a programme shaped by rhythm, movement, and thoughtful musical interplay.

🌟 A historic first in Austria: the sound of the 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 filled the night, and the entire audience rose to their feet. This was the unforgettable closing evening of the Festival with 𝐀 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐬.
✨ Bringing the culture of the Canary Islands to Vienna with 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚́𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧̃𝐚, and 𝐉𝐞𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐞́𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 was a truly unique moment, one that will remain among the most cherished memories of the AMADEUS Festival Vienna.

🎼 Guided by the vision of 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝, the Young Composer Night unfolded as a unique blend of film, storytelling, and live performance with ❞𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬❞.
🎬 Her concept and music united film, storytelling, and live performance into one immersive experience
🎻 Opening the night, 𝐒𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐯, AMADEUS alumnus, delivered a wonderful performance that set the tone for the programme that followed.

✨ We opened this year’s Festival with a beautiful 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 concert at the Pfarrkirche Gersthof, presented in collaboration with 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.
🎻The evening brought together exceptional musicians and an extraordinary collection of historic instruments. 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐡, 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤, and 𝐒𝐢𝐲𝐢 𝐋𝐢 performed on rare masterpieces including the 1844 Jean‑Baptiste Vuillaume cello, the 1709 Antonio Stradivari violin, the 1665 Jacob Stainer violin, and the 1929 Annibale Fagnola viola performed by 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳, accompanied by pianist 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐦. It was a truly inspiring start to our celebration of artistry and transformation.
