Das Labor richtet sich an fortgeschrittene und erfahrene Clown*innen um zu: Trainieren, Improvisieren, Kreieren, Anleiten und kontinuierlich an ihren Clown-Acts zu arbeiten.
Angeleitet wird das Labor von den Teilnehmer*innen selbst. Wer Lust dazu hat, kann eine oder mehrere Sessions anleiten. Das wird auch honoriert, dafür wird erwartet, dass man sich gut darauf vorbereitet. Diese Vorgehensweise hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren sehr gut bewährt.
Es gibt also keinen sich durchziehenden pädagogischen Masterplan. Es ist kein Workshop bei dem man lernt, wie man eine Clownfigur entwickelt, sondern es ist eher eine Spielwiese, ein Training, ein Ort zum Improvisieren und an Nummern zu arbeiten, für bereits erfahrene Clown*innen. Außerdem bietet es eine sehr gute Möglichkeit, sich im Anleiten zu üben.
Diese Jahr probieren wir einen Zusatz im Format: Neben den üblichen angeleiteten Montagen wird es auch Kreationsmontage geben, bei denen der Fokus auf dem Entwickeln von Nummern gelegt wird und viel Raum zum kreieren und zeigen da sein wird.
Bezüglich Corona: Wir gehen davon aus, dass es wie geplant am 3. Oktober in Präsenz losgehen kann. Da sich die Situation und die gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen, wie in den letzten 2 Jahren, stets ändern können, werden wir die Vorgaben immer aktuell anpassen und auch vor Semesterstart noch einmal informieren, ob und wenn ja welche Regelungen und Maßnahmen wir beachten werden. Beim ClownLab ähnlich wie bei Theaterproben oder Tanzkursen wird die Einhaltung des Mindestabstands nicht immer möglich sein, und kann schon gar nicht von uns gewährleistet werden. Damit müssen die Teilnehmer*innen in Eigenverantwortung umgehen.
Mitgliedsbeitrag pro Semester: 150€
Die Teilnahme soll nicht an der finanziellen Situation scheitern. Es gibt die Möglichkeit eines Scholarships (einer finanziellen Unterstützung) - sprich uns gerne darauf an.
Start Sommersemester 2022: Mo 3.Oktober 2022 bis Mo 30. Jänner 2023 (26.12. und 2.1. sind frei, das ergibt 16 Termine)

The lab is for advanced and experienced clowns to: train, improvise, create, guide and continuously work on their clown acts.
The lab is led by the participants themselves. Whoever feels like it can lead one or more sessions. This is also rewarded, but it is expected that you are well prepared. This approach has proven to be very successful in the past years.
So, there is no master pedagogical plan that has to be followed through. It's not a workshop where you learn how to develop a clown character, it's more of a playground, a training, a place to improvise and work on numbers, for already experienced clowns. It is also a very good opportunity to practice instructing.
This year we are trying an addition in the format: besides the usual guided montages, there will also be creation montages, where the focus will be on developing numbers and there will be a lot of space to create and show.
Regarding Corona: We assume that it can start as planned on October 3 in Presence. Since the situation and the legal framework, as in the last 2 years, can always change, we will always adapt the specifications up to date and also before the start of the semester again inform whether and if so which regulations and measures we will observe. At the ClownLab, similar to theater rehearsals or dance courses, the adherence to the minimum distance will not always be possible, and certainly cannot be guaranteed by us. The participants have to deal with this on their own responsibility.
Membership fee per semester: 150€
