I came back from Sorrento a few days ago, but I feel like a part of me is still there. I don’t know if it was the sea, the light, the colours of the old houses, the lemons everywhere or that special kind of Italian chaos that somehow has its own rhythm. But something about that place really stayed with me.
I think some places do not touch us only because they are beautiful. Sometimes they show us a direction.
For me, Sorrento was exactly that.
More light.
More space.
More colour.
More beauty in an ordinary day.
More of that feeling that life can be softer.
As an artist, I probably absorb these things more than I realise. A wall, a shadow, the blue of the sea, a yellow facade, an old floor, high ceilings, the smell of lemons, light moving on the water. In the moment they seem like small details, but later I understand that they have already stayed somewhere inside me.
I don’t know yet what will come from this trip. Maybe a new colour palette. Maybe a softer rhythm. Maybe just a clearer image of the life I am slowly building.
But I know Sorrento gave me something, a little more trust in where I am going ✨🇮🇹✨
