Thomas Gartmayer und Markus Jakisic lernten sich 2007 als Aushelfer eine Ska-Punk-Band kennen. Mit ihrem Debüt-Album “Kentertainment” in 2020 sprengten Tombadour diverse Genregrenzen. Ihre Musik kann als textliche und musikalische Reise zwischen HipHop, Jazz, Klassik, RnB, Pop und Dancehall Reggae beschrieben werden.
“Tombadour, das sind zwei Wiener, die sich erfreulicherweise nicht entscheiden können: HipHop? Oder doch Jazz? Reggae oder gar E-Musik? …Aber das ist Nebensache. Wichtig ist: Den beiden gelingt fast aus dem Stand ein Wahnsinnsalbum, das zurecht auf FM4 rotiert und das zu den größten Überraschungen dieses Jahres gehört.” (haubentaucher.at)

TOMBADOUR 🌙

Thomas Gartmayer and Markus Jakisic met in 2007 when they were helping out in a ska-punk band. With their debut album "Kentertainment" in 2020 Tombadour broke various genre boundaries. Their music can be described as a lyrical and musical journey between hip-hop, jazz, classical, RnB, pop and dancehall reggae.
"Tombadour, these are two Viennese, who fortunately can not decide: HipHop? Or jazz after all? Reggae or even electronic music? ...But that's a minor matter. What's important is that the two of them manage to make an amazing album almost from scratch, which rightly rotates on FM4 and which is one of the biggest surprises of this year." (haubentaucher.at)

Seit März 2020 versendet Papa Slam Österreichs, Markus Köhle, wöchentlich eine Videobotschaft und verdichtet dabei in Poetry-Slam-Manier das Besondere dieser Tage. Er poetisiert und konserviert, was uns alle angeht und schafft es sowohl zum Kopfschütteln, als auch zum Herzhaftlachen zu bringen. Ein Best-Of der Montags-Depeschen präsentierte er live aus dem Luna.

Since March 2020, Austria's Papa Slam, Markus Köhle, has been sending out a weekly video message, condensing in poetry slam style what is so special about these days. He poetizes and preserves what concerns us all and manages to make us shake our heads as well as laugh heartily. He presented a best-of of Monday's dispatches live from the Luna.

In einer Woche ist es soweit. Wir dürfen den Begründer der österreichischen Poetry Slam Szene bei uns begrüßen. ✨
MARKUS KÖHLE ist Sprachinstallateur und Papa Slam Österreichs. Er schreibt, um gehört zu werden und weil das Live-Hör-Erlebnis gerade nicht möglich ist, versendet er seit März 2020 wöchentlich eine Videobotschaft und verdichtet dabei in Poetry-Slam-Manier das Besondere dieser Tage. Er poetisiert und konserviert, was uns alle angeht und schafft es sowohl zum Kopfschütteln, als auch zum Herzhaftlachen zu bringen. Ein Best-Of der Montags-Depeschen präsentiert er am Sonntag, den 24. Jänner 2021 um 19 Uhr im Luna's Dream.
Das ist Zeitgeschichte in 5-Minuten-Portiönchen. Das sind in Slam-Form gebrachte Pandemie-Absurditäten mit hohem Ablenk- und Unterhaltungsfaktor. Das ist Lockdown-Langeweile umgewandelt in zeitgemäße Literatur. Das ist definitiv besser als Tatortschauen. 🌙

He poetizes and preserves what concerns us all and manages to make us shake our heads as well as laugh heartily. He presents a best-of of the Monday Dispatches on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 7pm at Luna's Dream.
That is contemporary history in 5 minute portions. These are absurdities of the pandemic put into slam form with a high distraction and entertainment factor. This is lockdown boredom transformed into contemporary literature. It's definitely better than watching crime scenes. 🌙

Eine Premiere steht bevor, mit Mathias Novovesky wird erstmals ein Kabarettist das Luna betreten ✨ Der Bestattersohn der Leute lieber zum lachen bringt als einzugraben.
Was erwartet einen Bestattersohn schon im Leben? Eine Prinzessin gibt es für den zynisch, morbiden Ponfinebara Prinzen keine. Die Trohnfolge des Bestattungskönigreichs ist nicht die beste Mitgift. Im Stil der großen Meister des Wiener Kabaretts, grantelt Novovesky über das Leben, die Liebe, das Glück, schreiende Kinder und sowieso über eh alles. „Novovesky ist ein Mundl Sackbauer des 21 Jahrhunderts“, lobte ihn der Falter. „Mathias Novovesky hat mit „Bildnis eines mittleren Charakters“ ein Kabarettprogramm geschaffen, das wienerischer nicht sein könnte“, sagte Florian Kobler vom ORF. Dabei wünscht er sich nichts mehr als eine Prinzessin, dafür braucht man aber Glück. Das Glück wiederum ist ein Vogerl. Und das Vogerl mag Novovesky nicht, es kann ihn nicht leiden. Und wenn es ihm doch zu nahe kommt, „peep“ es ihm auf den Schädel. Das soll dann allerdings wieder Glück bringen...

For the first time a comedian will join Luna’s Dream ✨ Mathias Novovesky a mortician's son who would rather make people laugh than bury them. What can a mortician's son expect in life? There is no princess waiting for the cynical, morbid Ponfinebara prince. The consolation of the undertaker's kingdom is not the best of dowry. In the style of the great masters of Viennese cabaret, Novovesky grumbles about life, love, happiness, screaming children and about everything anyway. Novovesky has been praised by the Falter and the Florian Kobler of the ORF, for creating a character that could not be more Viennese There is nothing he would like more than a princess, but for that you need luck. Luck, however, is a bird. And the bird doesn't like Novovesky. It really doesn’t like him. And if it comes too close to him, it "peeps" at his skull. This is supposed to bring luck again...

HIKEE BIKINI live 20/12/2020 🌙

Hikee Bikini was the last act at Luna's Dream in 2020 & what a great one that was. The five-piece band was represented by the singer (Ricarda Oberneder) and the guitarist (Sebastian Maurer) as a reduced arrangement. Thank you for this great ending of a turbulent year.
