Today the lovely "Kino Otok - Isola Cinema International Film Festival“ in Izola, Slovenia, is starting running until 14 June. Not to be missed! (though this year no one of us of K3 Film Festival will be present 🥲 )

Festival se prebuja. Mi smo že na pozicijah in odštevamo zadnje ure do začetka. ✨ Za nami so priprave, pred nami pa dnevi filma, srečanj in skupnih doživetij. 🎬

🔹 Prvič se srečamo danes ob 19.00 v Manziolijevi palači, kjer bomo prisluhnili predstavitvi projektov 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙑𝙯𝙝𝙤𝙙 / 𝙊𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙕𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙙 – 𝙈𝙚𝙟𝙖 𝙨𝙠𝙤𝙯𝙞 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝙯𝙜𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙤 ter 𝙉𝙖𝙨̌ 𝙫𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙟𝙞 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙤, ki sta v okviru Evropske prestolnice kulture GO! 2025 nastala pri Kinoateljeju. O projektih b***a spregovorila filmski kritik in kurator 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗙𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗮 ter vodja programa Kinoateljeja 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗷𝗮 𝗭𝗼𝗿𝗻, sledile pa bodo projekcije kratkih filmov, ki so nastali v produkciji Kinoateljeja.
𝘋𝘰𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘬 𝘣𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘬𝘢𝘭 𝘷 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘴̌𝘤̌𝘪𝘯𝘪.

Save the date: from 10 to 14 June, the ‘Cinema Nord Est’ film festival returns to the Giardino del Cinema, organised by the Associazione Casa del Cinema di Trieste!

Five evenings of open-air cinema will allow you to discover or rediscover some of the best feature films made in the Tre Venezie region and the cross-border area.

Admission is free, subject to availability.

The second call for the 2026 FVG Audiovisual Fund is now open.

The available funding amounts to €800,000.00. For the year 2026, additional financial support totalling €50,000.00 (fifty thousand) is also provided for the distribution of audiovisual works in the Friulian language.

Roberto Dordit’s feature film "I Colori della Tempesta" will be awarded the Special Communication Prize – Premio Rotondi. The award, dedicated to Superintendent of Antiquities and Fine Arts for the Marche region, has been held in Sassocorvaro for 28 years and will be presented on May 29 this year.

The film is inspired by the incredible story of Pasquale Rotondi (1909–1991), who was responsible for safeguarding numerous works of art during World War II in order to protect them from bombing and looting.
