At its starting point and its core is Hank Willis Thomas' sculpture "The Embrace", which (in my mind) embodies the German term "Zuneigung (affection & inclination)" perfectly.

Our open production for the film anthology project "Zuneigung (affection & inclination)" is back in Boston. If you are interested in participating in this collective visual poetry piece, by shooting some film, video, images around "The Embrace" sculpture on the Boston Common or on the topic of Zuneigung/affection&inclination, please get in touch via DM or E-Mail. We are expecting to host another weekend for open production field days (Saturday, Feb. 21 & Sunday, Feb. 22) at "The Embrace". We will be shooting 16mm film, miniDV video and contemporary video formats (just bring your phone and join the action!), as well as some sound recording of poetry and interviews.
