Parera Management is delighted to announce that cellist Guillermo Pastrana joins the agency for General Management.
Recognized as one of the most influential Spanish artists of his generation, Guillermo Pastrana is celebrated for his beautiful, powerful sound and for interpretations that combine originality with a deep respect for the essence of the music. His sincere and direct musical voice creates a strong connection with audiences, establishing him as a versatile and authentic performer.
A prizewinner of major competitions including the Khachaturian International Cello Competition, the Primer Palau Prize, and the National Music Prize “El Ojo Crítico” (RTVE), Pastrana has performed worldwide with leading orchestras such as the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, Galicia Symphony Orchestra, and many others, collaborating with distinguished conductors across the international scene.
Deeply committed to both historical repertoire and contemporary creation, he actively promotes new music while contributing to the rediscovery of Spain’s musical heritage, as demonstrated by his acclaimed recordings and collaborations with renowned composers. Alongside his performing career, he is also a dedicated educator, currently teaching at the Musik Akademie Basel and Musical Arts Madrid.
